Internationally Recognized Artist Barbara Neijna Exhibition Débuts

DELAND, FL – October 29, 2018 – The Museum of Art – DeLand opens the Barbara Neijna Full Circle: Considering Infinity exhibition with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at its galleries located in Downtown DeLand at 100 N. Woodland Blvd. Neijna personally selected the Museum of ArtDeLand to premier her recent drawings. Admission to the opening reception for Museum Members is no-charge and $10 for non-members and light refreshments will be served. The artist is slated to attend opening night.

Full Circe: Considering Infinity showcases more than 60 works from the past three years that highlight Neijna’s unique ability to capture the unending nature of the circle, according to George S. Bolge, CEO for the Museum of Art –DeLand.

“Neijna’s art exists between the present and actual and the imminent and possible. Her images, as often as not, are in transition from one state to another, from one dimension of reality to another. Reality for this artist is an eternally ongoing process of question and transformation, a dynamic, ever fluctuating series of overlapping images and appearances,” said Bolge.

The exhibition will be on view through January 13, 2019. Admission to the Museum is $5, admission is free for members and children under 12. The Museum is open 10a.m.-4p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 1p.m.-4p.m. on Sunday.
