Studio Artist Class

For Ages 6 - 12

Are your kids looking for a creative recharge? The Museum of Art – DeLand’s Studio Artist Class is designed to grow students’ abilities technically and conceptually through a focused 3-week program. Each session meets on Wednesdays on early release days from 2 – 4 p.m.

Students will study elements and principles of art, in-depth techniques, and a variety of artists to inspire their work. This 3-week class will focus on painting techniques and incorporate elements and principles of art throughout the classes. Students will learn painting techniques and learn how to apply arts concepts into finished works. Students will use acrylic, watercolor, and gouache.

Tuition: $70 for Museum Members  |  $80 for Non-Members
