Grammy award winner and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, John Mellencamp showcases a selection of paintings and assemblages for a return art exhibition at the Museum of Art – DeLand.
An accomplished painter, collector, and activist, Mellencamp exposes unsettling but beautiful truths with an attitude of defiance and narrative sensibility that echoes the earnest voice of the American heartland. In addition to more recent paintings, this exhibition includes a selection of assemblages as well, adding yet another dimension to a unique body of work.
