Awards Ceremony

2020 Poetic Visions Competition
The Museum is delighted, thrilled, pleased, enchanted (insert your own just-right adjective here) to host an evening Awards Ceremony in celebration of our Poetic Visions exhibition and poetry competition. Area poets were tasked with creating an original work inspired by and written about selections from our Permanent Collection. The general public then had a chance to vote for their favorite poem of the 34 pieces while viewing the exhibition.
The winning poem will be announced and read at 6:00 p.m. at this special Awards Ceremony and reception. Our 2020 Poetic Visions Anthology will be presented to the participating poets, and a few will be available for purchase by the public.
Please note: Masks are required to be worn inside the Museum at all times, and event details are subject to change due to COVID-19 considerations. Thank you for understanding.
