Jennifer York: Art Entrepreneurship Talk

The Museum of Art – DeLand, Stetson University, the Prince Entrepreneurship Program and the School of Business Administration present an Art Entrepreneurship Talk with Artist Jennifer York, whose exhibition, Constructed Realities, will be on view at our downtown DeLand gallery.
Jennifer York is a full-time studio artist based in Charleston, South Carolina with recent exhibitions at the Gibbes Museum of Art, Myrtle Beach Art Museum, and now, the Museum of Art-DeLand Downtown. She earned a BFA in sculpture from Pratt Institute and an MFA in fibers from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She is the founder of Jennythreads Studio, member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, and the author of Printing on Fabric: Techniques with Screens, Stencils, Inks, and Dyes. She has taught at the Savannah College of Art and Design, the University of North Carolina-Asheville, Penland School of Craft, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, as well as workshops nationwide and abroad.
