DESCRIPTION:In this four week class\, Fontaine Rodgers will introduce the ancient art form of Sumi-e painting. Participants will explore brush strokes and their applications\, traditional subjects like bamboo\, lotus\, orchids\, insects and birds. Students will use authentic brushes\, ink\, and paper. This class is designed for all levels and all materials are provided. \nFontaine Rodgers is a member of the Sumi-e Society of America and teaches Sumi-e to adults and teens throughout Central Florida. She is a retired International Baccalaureate art teacher and President of the Central Florida Printmakers. \nEVENT DETAILS\n\nMeets Tuesdays\, Feb 4th – Feb 25th (4 weeks)\, 600 N.
